Our own line
RnS Optics
Optics are where budgets get quietly eaten. The module is a commodity; the code on it is what the switch checks. RnS Optics are coded to the platform they are going into, tested on our bench, and labeled with the link they belong to.
It is our own line, so we will tell you exactly what it is: compatible optics, not OEM-branded ones, at a fraction of the OEM price.
Hardware shipped worldwide and crews dispatched from our Las Vegas warehouse.

What we do with RnS Optics hardware
- Code each module to the exact platform it is going into
- Test every module on the bench before it leaves the building
- Label modules and cables with the link and port they belong to
- Match reach and fiber type to the run, not to a catalog default
- Supply as part of a deployment or on its own
- Replace anything that does not come up, without an argument
Where it lands
Typical deployments
- Leaf-and-spine fabrics where module count runs into the hundreds
- Switch refreshes where the OEM optics cost more than the switch
- In-rack DAC runs for top-of-rack connectivity
- Structured fiber builds with trunks and cassettes cut to length
Deploying RnS Optics at more than one site? Multi-site programs run on a fixed runbook with the same documentation at every location.
Nationwide smart hands →Questions we get
RnS Optics, answered straight
Will they work in my switches?
Yes, when coded correctly for the platform, which is what we do before shipping. Tell us the exact model and we code to it. If a module does not come up, we replace it.
Are these OEM optics?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. They are compatible modules coded for your platform. That is the whole point, and it is why they cost a fraction of the OEM part number.
Do you test before shipping?
Every module. Testing at our bench is cheaper for everyone than testing at 2am in a cage.
